When ordered by the customer, unisourceprint.com will submit color proofs for the customer’s review and approval for a fee of $100. A minimum shipping charge of $25 is required to send a proof via express air shipping.To request a proof you must order it through the website shopping cart system when placing your print order. - Proofs are waived by the client;
- The work is printed per the client’s written OK;
- Requests for changes are communicated verbally.
All requests for changes of any kind must be made in writing to avoid mistakes.
- Color Proofing
Because of differences in equipment, paper, inks, and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a “pleasing color” variation between color proofs and the completed job[as determined by generally accepted trade technical methods] is to be expected. When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.
The generally accepted trade practice is plus or minus 10%.
Charges for delivery of materials and supplies from the client or the client’s supplier to unisourceprint.com are not included in quotations unless specified. unisourceprint.com is not responsible for delays and/or damage incurred during shipping. Title for finished work passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier at shipping point; or upon mailing of invoices for the finished work or its segments, whichever comes first. Orders that have delivery or shipping selected will be shipped immediately upon completion. Shipping carriers visit our plant mon-fri (4pm-6pm) and pickup completed orders, exceptions are holidays or if the office is closed due to inclement weather. If your order is not ready by the time the shipping carrier visits our plant, your order will be picked up the following business day.Orders that exceed size or weight limitations for the selected delivery level may be divided into multiple boxes. Your order conformation and/or product tracking information will reflect the number boxes you can expect for your order. If your order is divided into multiple boxes, each box will incur a separate shipping charge and we cannot guaranty that all of the boxes will be received on the same day. Because UPS does not ship to a Post Office box, it is your responsibility to verify that an actual street address has been entered, and that it is the correct and accurate address (including zip code) for your delivery. We are not responsible for any delays, losses or increased delivery charges caused by mistaken or incorrect delivery addresses. We are not responsible for any delays or losses of product once the product is delivered to the carrier for shipment. Please verify that your payment information has been correctly entered. Shipments may be delayed because of improper credit card information and we are not responsible for any delay or loss associated with this. Holidays may affect and delay your shipping times. Please take holidays into account when estimating your package delivery time. If a package is not delivered due to a customer refusal (which would include a failure to pick up the product from the carrier, if applicable) or an error made by the customer, e.g., not submitting the proper shipping address, it may cause the package to be reshipped (with the corrected address if applicable), and you will be charged an additional shipping fee for this reshipment. You may also incur additional fees as a result of the inability of the carrier to deliver the order, as well as return fees. Even if you decline to have a product reshipped, you will continue to be responsible for the product cost, original shipping and any additional fees incurred as a result of the product being returned, and you consent to these fees being charged against the credit card used for the transaction. If, after placing an order, you wish to change the shipping address you may do so up until the time the order is out for delivery. Each time that you request that we intercept and transport an order to a new shipping address (i.e., other than the one currently chosen) you will incur an administrative fee of at least fifteen dollars ($15.00) as well as any increases in the shipping fees and other charges UPS may impose. You consent to these fees and charges being charged against the credit card used for the transaction. We will make every effort to adhere to the estimated shipping schedule and delivery date for your order. However, equipment failures, technical problems, shipping delays and other problems beyond our control may delay the printing and delivery process. Under such circumstances rush charges and other production fees may be waived or refunded as applicable, however, such delays are not grounds for cancellation of an order. By placing an order with Unisource Print you are agreeing that we are not responsible or liable for, and no refund, cancellation or credit will be due as a result of shipping company delays, acts of God, weather conditions, environmental or dangerous goods incidents, perils of the air, public enemies, public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority, acts or omissions of customs officials, authority of law, quarantine, riots, strikes, work stoppages or slowdowns, or other labor disputes or disturbances, civil commotions or hazards incident to a state of war, local or national disruptions in ground or air transportation networks or systems due to events beyond our control, disruption or failure of communication and information systems, disruption or failure of utilities, international customs issues, any other circumstances that are beyond our direct control. Please take note that if you choose a residential address as your delivery address the carrier will typically not require a signature at the time of delivery and the package may be left at the address. If you require a delivery signature, please contact Customer Service.
Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client via our Contact Page no later than 10 calendar days after delivery. If no such claim is made, unisourceprint.com and the client will understand that the job has been accepted. (if you can not find your desired size, please pick the next size up i.e. if you want a 4×4 flyer you would select “CD Insert (4.75 x 4.75)” and note in the special instructions that you want a 4×4.
- The final piece MAY be up to an 1/8th inch smaller or larger than actual order size unless exact size is selected.
- The final piece MAY slide up, down, left, or right 1/16th inch to 1/8th inch in either direction. So we strongly recommend that you DO NOT use borders in your artwork.
- The final piece MAY be cut slightly uneven, 0 to 10 degree shifts are considered acceptable.
- When reordering, colors MAY be slightly different then original order. (unless a proof is purchased and color matching is purchased for an additional fee).
- If files are submitted and do not meet our bleed specifications, Unisource Print reserves the right to add a border to the artwork.
- If files are submitted in RGB mode, you are authorizing Unisource Print to convert the file(s) to CMYK mode. (converting files from RGB to CMYK may cause color shifting as well as other undesirable results).
- If we only receive one file for a job we will assume that file is to be used for side 1 and side two is blank, unless otherwise stated.
If for any reason we must reprint a job, we MUST use the original files uploaded. Under no circumstances will we accept new files for the reprint.
- Turnaround Estimate
Purchasing non-standard upgraded turnaround should NOT be construed as a guarantee and does not apply to any additional production. Additional production includes, but is not limited to folding, scoring, perforating, die-cutting and drilling. At Unisource Print’s discretion, if a job does not ship by the estimated turnaround, Unisource Print may issue a store credit towards the customer’s next order, but the customer must request this credit. The amount of the credit is at the discretion of Unisource Print. Resellers do not qualify for store credit. Exceptions to the issuance of store credit include, but are not limited to equipment failure/power outages, 3rd party shipping errors and “acts of god”.
- Privacy Statement

Our name will appear as “unisourceprint.com or Unisource Print” on your credit card statement.
- Billing Penalties
There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks
- Inkjet Proofs
Inkjet and laser prints are known to look substantially different than offset printing. We offer quick turnaround and low prices by printing to a “pleasing color” standard, using standard ink densities. There is no guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed proof. This is due to the varying results from different output devices including inkjet printers, continuous tone proofing devices, and film-based proofs.
